Community

At G.C. Zarnas, giving back to our communities is a part of who we are.

We continue our founder’s legacy by supporting youth athletics through The National Football Scholar Athlete Awards Program as well as several non-profits that focus on the health and welfare of children.

A special area of focus for G.C. Zarnas is the work of Autism Speaks, which is dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure of Autism.

Each year members and friends of the G.C. Zarnas team and extended family come together to participate in the Autism Speaks walk, the nation’s largest grassroots autism walk program, and is Autism Speaks’ signature fundraising and awareness event. This great cause takes place in communities across the United States, including our home in the Lehigh Valley.

The members of “Team Zarnas” have grown in the number of walkers, and through the kindness and generosity of our team members, friends, and client partners, we have raised more than $16,000 during each walk.

Another area of focus is finding a cure for pediatric cancer.  Daughters of Grace Zarnas-Hoyer, Sophia Hoyer, is an entertainment captain for Penn State University’s THON, a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children afflicted with cancer; and Alexis Hoyer, is president of Mini THON at Southern Lehigh High School.  Constantine Donahue, son of Christina Zarnas Donahue, is also active with Mini THON at Saucon Valley High School.

G.C. Zarnas also supports The United Way, The Boys and Girls Clubs, Kids Peace, Special Olympics, and The Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley, all of which provide children an opportunity to realize their full potential.

Join “Team Zarnas” in 2024 at Bethlehem’s SteelStacks to walk in support of Autism Speaks to discover a cure!

“I look forward to walking with you in September 2024 during the Autism Speaks Walk of the Lehigh Valley.  Thank you to all who have supported and continue to support this cause at this fun-filled family event at Steel Stacks!”

Dean Zarnas, Vice President, G.C. Zarnas
